With a degree in clinical lab technology, Susan Mozayani worked as a lab scientist researching leukemia at USC medical center. To follow her passion for working directly with patients, she later attended Southern California College of Optometry and earned a doctorate degree in Optometry and a second bachelor’s degree in Visual Sciences.
With a degree in clinical lab technology, Susan Mozayani worked as a lab scientist researching leukemia at USC medical center. To follow her passion for working directly with patients, she later attended Southern California College of Optometry and earned a doctorate degree in Optometry and a second bachelor’s degree in Visual Sciences. She appreciates working in a private practice setting where she can focus on patient education, holistic medicine, and quality eye care. She is a member of the American Optometric Association, California Optometric Association, and a Board member of the Redwood Empire Optometric Society. Community service is high on Dr. Mozayani’s priority list.
She takes pride in her accomplishments mentoring a number of young high school girls to believe in themselves, strives for higher education, and earned bachelor degrees from local universities. Dr. Mozayani is passionate about advocating for the betterment of the public school system to add value to our community.
She lives in Novato with her husband and has two young daughters. She loves to travel. And, yes, loves to dance!!
